Tokyo Universities are considered to be the major educational institutes for higher studies. There is a series of universities in the capital city of Japan.

The Tokyo University of Science is a leading university of science and technology in the capital city of Japan. In the year 1881, this privately owned university was founded with a mission for scientific advancement. At that time, the university was known as the Tokyo Academy of Physics.

In the year 1883, it was renamed as the Tokyo University of Physics. Finally, in 1949, the institute became the Tokyo University of Science. It is located at Kagurazaka, Shinjuku-ku and has acquired world-wide popularity for its high-standard study courses. This University has four campuses. They are Oshamambe Campus, Kagurazaka Campus, Kuki Campus and Noda campus.
