Tokyo Trade Center was set up by Tokyo Metropolitan Government for promoting industries in Tokyo. This Trade Center in Tokyo undertakes overseas expansion, market creation and development, trade mediation services for its member units. It also organizes seminars and provides consultation for the member concerns.

Business Activities at Tokyo Trade Center
Tokyo Trade Center works towards globalization of the medium and small scale industries in Tokyo. The business activities of this center can be broadly categorized into rental services and information services.
  • Rental Services - The Trade Center rents out conference rooms and exhibition halls to its member companies.
  • Information Services - This entails offering of import and export business information to the member agencies. The Trade Center provides this overseas trade information over the inter net also.
Tokyo Trade Center Consulting Activities
In addition to business activities, Tokyo Trade Center offers consulting services for its member concerns. These consulting activities include:
  • Trade Consultation Service - Trade consultation services are provided by experienced and knowledgeable experts in the subject. The consultation timings are from 1 pm to 5 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Consultancy is also provided over telephone, e-mail and Fax.
  • Registration of Organizations - The Trade Center registers companies and publish their names in the Tokyo Goods Catalog.
  • Promoting Traditional Tokyo Handicraft Industry - This Center organizes a Tokyo Exhibition of traditional handicrafts. The local handicraft industry is thus showcased.
Tokyo Trade Center is under the Bureau of Industrial and Labor Affairs and operated by Tokyo Metropolitan Small Business Center.
