New International School Tokyo


New International School Tokyo has gained international fame for providing education through innovative methods. In the year 2001, the school was founded. It is situated very close to Zoshigaya and can be easily reached from different corners of city. Tokyo New International School has got its accreditation from the MSA, the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.

Presently, around 170 students are studying in this international school of Japan. It offers classes from preschool to class 9. Children of both the Japanese and English-speaking people can get admitted to this school.

The media of instruction of this co-educational school in Japan are Japanese and English. Here, students are always encouraged to interact with each other in order to develop a healthy atmosphere. For each class, 20 students are alloted. Each class contains children within two to three year range. Usually with the use of conferences, seminars and presentations, the study courses are made more interesting. Care is taken for
all-round development of the students. In addition to regular academic sessions children of 8 years and above are given lessons in playing the violin, and all children over 5 years are given physical training which includes Tae-kwon-do.

Apart from the aforesaid, the social skills are also developed in this school. Each year several visual and innovative art programs are held over here. Parents are always involved in school activities concerning their children. Parents participate in student presentations, parent seminars, anecdotic reports.

Here a particular session extends from the month of September to June. However, people who are interested to admit their children in this school are requested to get a prior appointment with the school authority.

New International School, Tokyo is recognized by the Metropolitan Government of Tokyo as a School Foundation. It has been acclaimed in a book written by Tomomi Fujiwara, winner of Akutagawa Prize.
