Montessori School, Tokyo

Montessori School of Tokyo provides children with pre-school education. This is a truly international school because the students come from different countries. The institution was founded by Maria Montessori,
an Italian woman with a medical degree and the school was named after this woman. The school is for children between the ages of three and twelve. The standard is differentiated into two levels, the Sunshine and the Elementary Standard.

Admission to Montessori School of Tokyo
The admission procedure to the school is pretty easy but a little unique. The school authorities prefer to introduce the parents of the prospective students to the school environment. For this, it is mandatory for parents to take a tour around the school with the permission of the school head. Tours are usually arranged on Tuesday mornings before half past ten. In case of special request, other days can also be fixed instead of Tuesdays. Children are not allowed to visit the school on these tours. A separate day is scheduled for the child to spend with the teacher. Other admission formalities include submission of the application request, the application fees, the report card and recommendation of the previous school if any.
