J's International School

J's International School in Tokyo is a kindergarten school, which introduces children to the vast world of knowledge through several games and co-curricular activities. The school was founded in 2002 by two women as a tribute to the dead son of one of them. The school is for children between the age groups of 1.5 to 9 years. After the completion of school the students are expected to get admitted to a formal school.

The teaching faculty of J's International School is very meticulous about nurturing the young students. The age, when the children are first introduced to J's International School is not the age for formal education. So the teachers take it upon themselves to arouse the curiosity among the students on various topics. Also, a lot has to be done, to provide the children with comprehensible answer to their questions.

The Academic Standards of J's International School

Children of different age groups are admitted to
different classes. These standards are named after animals rather than being simply numbered. The increasing order of the academic standard proceeds as follows:

  • Pre-School Standard: Known as 'Busy Bee' (3-4 years)
  • Kindergarten Standard: Known as 'Ready Rabbits' (4-5 years)
  • Pre First Grade Standard: Known as 'Clever Cats' (5-6 years)
Along with basic education, the school lays special stress in training pupils in Japanese and English language. The school also holds special classes on Saturdays. The school management offers art classes after normal hours.

The J's International School holds events and concerts. The students participate in such programs. Special parties and celebrations are also held on festival days and birthdays of the students.
