Location of Tokyo
The Chiba Prefecture and Edogawa River border Tokyo in the eastern side. The Yamanashi Prefecture is situated to the west of Tokyo. In the north of Tokyo, another prefecture, known as Saitama Prefecture is located.
River Tamagawa flows to the south of Tokyo. The Kanagawa Prefecture has also bordered Tokyo in the south. River Tama is an important river of Tokyo. River Sumida flows in the direction of north to south and it meets the Tokyo Bay.
