Tokyo Auto Salon is an annual event that is being held for the last twenty six years. This annual show attracts the world leaders in automobile manufacturing, and others connected directly or indirectly with the automobile industry. The Auto Salon in Tokyo is held in Chiba-shi, Mihama-ku, Tokyo.

The Tokyo Auto Salon 2007 held between Friday 12th January and Sunday 14th January was promoted by Tokyo Auto Salon Association (TASA), and co-promoted by Nippon Auto Parts after market committee or NAPAC.

Automobiles ranging from high performance cars, concept cars, performance sedans, performance wagons, performance mini vans, compact cars and imported cars are the primary attractions of Tokyo Auto Salon. A few of the car manufacturers that participate in this grand event are Nissan, Honda, Mitsubishi, Toyota, Mercedes Benz, Skoda, BMW, Volkswagen, Chevrolet, FIAT, Paggio, Buick, Jaguar, Pontiac, Chrysler and the like.

Tokyo Auto Salon Admissions
Admission to the Tokyo Car Fair is chargeable except for elementary school students. Tickets are categorized into premium, general, and handicapped varieties. The Premium tickets are the most expensive ones. Discounts are available on tickets if they are booked in advance. Elementary school students and children are allowed free.

The Auto Salon in Tokyo lasts usually for three days, from Friday to Sunday. On the opening Friday, entry to the exhibition is permitted after 1 pm till 6 pm. On Saturday, the show remains open for the public from 9 am to 6 pm, and on Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm.

Tokyo Auto Salon Attractions
The exhibition provides some other attractions too apart from cars. Public draws and distributing prizes are regular features of this fabulous Tokyo event. Stage shows by prominent professional entertainers form an integral part of this three-day extravaganza.
