Nagoya , a city located in central Japan is also known as the'city of technologies'. When the city was formed about 400 years ago it was merely a castle town and now it is one of the major cities of Japan having status similar to Tokyo and Osaka.
Whole of this modern city evolved around the Nagoya castle which was built over four centuries ago. In the medieval era Nagoya was a seat of samurai activities as it was the home to many prominent samurai families. In the 21 st century this city of Japan has evolved as an ultramodern city with skyscrapers, exquisite malls and modern railway stations.

Apart from being one of the most modern cities of Japan, Nagoya is also blessed by Mother Nature. In the midst of the concrete jungle citizens find respite in the Heiwa Park and Higashiyama Park.
