The places of attraction in Funabashi are Ninomiya Jinja, Kutei-kan, Gyoda Musen and Funabashi Daijingu. But it has to be mentioned here that this city does not attract tourists at a significant rate but it is being chosen by more and more people as the perfect city to settle their base.
Apart from being in close proximity to Tokyo the economy of Funabashi is also vibrant as it has numerous iron, petrochemical and steel plants. It is also the biggest source of agricultural products for Tokyo. The city of Funabashi is the proud possessor of one of biggest shopping malls of Japan. Two major race courses are also located in this Japanese city.
Like any big city with no adequate infrastructure Funabashi also suffers from the common problems like garbage, parking lots and accommodation. The city administration has taken adequate measures to increase facilities for international visitors.
