Milan is a major tourist destination in Europe with more than 1 million people coming here every year. Art and architecture connoisseurs can have the time of their life visiting places like Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, San Siro Stadium and the Via Monte Napoleone. Transportation in Milan
Milan has an extensive network of public transport system, including 3 metropolitan railway lines and tram, trolley-bus and bus lines. High-speed train lines connect Milan to Turin in 45 minutes; Naples in 4 hours; Florence in 1 hour 40 minutes; Rome in 2 hour 55 minutes, Salerno in 4 hour 25 minutes and Milan to Bologna in 1 hour.

The Azienda Trasporti Milanesi (ATM) looks after the transportation system in the metropolitan area. Taxi service in Milan is operated by private companies with license from the Comune di Milano. There are three international airports in the city - The Malpensa International Airport, The Linate Airport and airport of Orio al Serio. Bus Express Line X73, Bus Line 73 connects Linate Airport to the downtown. The Centrale FS Main Railway Station is connected via the ATM Shuttle Bus Services.
