  • Bus services in Dublin city and the county are efficiently provided by Dublin Bus – a government recognized transit agency. They operate from 06.00am to 11.30 pm on weekdays with exceptional night bus service known as Nitelinks on Friday and Saturday. These night buses run every 20 minutes from 12.30 am till 04.30 am. Their office provide useful timetables for buses with details on various money-saving ticket facilities and tourist tickets, available at the retail shops and other stores throughout the city. Dublin Bus Information Office is sited at Upper O'Connell Street in Dublin.
  • Bus Eireann is another bus operator offering services from Dublin to the other parts of Ireland. Busaras is the central bus station of this operator and it is located on Amiens Street.
  • DART or Dublin Area Rapid Transport is a suburban rail service operating between Malahide in the extreme northern tip of the eastern coast and Greystones in the South. There are nearly 25 stations along the route. Each of these stations have an office informing about the train timings and variety of travel ticket options.
  • Aircoach is a private coach operator in Dublin, providing unique blue air-conditioned luxury coaches, running from Dublin Airport to the center and south of the city. These coaches offer several services to the prominent hotels of the city round the clock.
  • LUAS is the Dublin tram system with updated form of Light Rail Transit. Luas connect the passengers from Dublin city center to various important locations of the city. Their services are noted for high capacity, speed and frequency. There are convenient stops along the routes, easing the journey all across the city and county.
  • State transport company or CIE provides train services all around Ireland, including Dublin. The 2 main train stations of Dublin are Connolly and Heuston. Passengers traveling from the South and West can avail their train at Heuston Station, very close to the city center and those from the North, North West and South East shall board the train from Connolly Station, close to the O'Connell Street.
  • Private taxis can be hailed or hired at taxi stands or reserved by telephonic system. The 3 major taxi stands in the city center are on the O'Connell Street, St. Stephen's Green and Dame Street.
Traveling within Dublin is not a problem at any time of the day. The busy hours are served continually by the buses, LUAS and taxis. The passengers traveling late at night can easily avail the Nitelinks. Dublin is a very scenic city with well maintained roads for pedestrians. However the fastest mode of transport in the city is DART and Dublin Bus services, since they have abundance of stops at the prime locations of the city.
