Dublinia, a medieval heritage and historical center is located adjacent to the Christ Church Cathedral in Dublin. Tourists visiting the capital city of Ireland, come to Dublinia for a visual experience, which takes them on a historical journey through 10 significant events of the medieval history and the Viking period. It unfolds the story of evolution of Dublin as a city, from the arrival of Strongbow and his Anglo Saxon Knights in the 12th century, till the reign of Henry VIII in the 16th century.

Dublinia was first established as a center to encourage education and research. It is located in the former Synod Hall of the Chruch of Ireland Cathedral. The facade of the Cathedral built in the model of neo-Gothic architecture. Tourists can avail information in different languages like French, German, English, Italian and Spanish. For the teachers a 8 page medieval history is also available. For the schools, Dublina offers free tours guided by an Education Officer who answers to all the queries.

The Malton Room Coffee Shop in Dublinia contains original 18th century prints by James Malton which are pictorial representation of life and history of medieval Dublin. This hall was used by the bishops and the
council of Diocese for religious meetings and gatherings. The Woodney Walk in Dublinia enables the visitors to explore and appreciate different artwork inspired by Dublin's historical past. Malton Trail is a journey through the most beautiful buildings in Dublin.

To enjoy the bird's eye view of the city of Dublin, visitors can climb up the 96 stairs of the 17 th century St. Michael's Tower. It is an unique experience to try out medieval robes and ancient armors available in Dublinia.

Large narrations and lighting are used to depict various events in history like the Black Death, the crowning of Lambert Simnel or the building of the famous Dublin Castle. The Viking World exhibition at Dublinia was started on 2005 Easter. The interesting history of early Dublin depicting the various aspects of Viking culture can be seen in this exhibition. Visitors gain an insight as to how the Viking World influenced the lifestyle of the people of Dublin.
