Coombe Women's Hospital is a highly recommended hospital in Dublin, Ireland devoted to maternal and neo-natal services. The location of Coombe Women's Hospital is in Dean Swift's Vineyard in Heytesbury Street of Dublin. This hospital was originally a general hospital, set in the Coombe area in 1770. Finally, Mrs. Margaret Boyle introduced the maternity service in 1826 with a small amount of investment of £100. In 1926 the centenary program of this hospital was celebrated by hosting the first international medical congress held in Dublin.

Keeping in mind the convenience and requirements of the patients, few facilities as well as restrictions are set by the hospital authorities. Visiting the patients is not allowed between 11.45 am and 1.15 pm and 4.00pm to 5.30pm. Other than these hours, the visitors have to avail the official Pink Visitor's Card and can meet their relatives up to 8.30pm. No additional baby buggies are allowed within the ward of the hospital. Consuming alcoholic beverages, using mobile phones and
smoking in the hospital is prohibited. Café Coombe offers refreshing snacks and beverages from 8.30am. to 6.00pm (Monday to Friday) and 11.00am to 5.00pm on weekends. There is a hospital shop at the ground floor, near the entrance selling all necessary commodities.

The newborn baby is first taken to the Postnatal Ward for examination for around 72 hours. The hospital also runs a Baby Clinic which offers treatment with due appointment from Monday to Friday. The Neonatal Center or 'The Baby Unit' is on the second floor of the hospital. Round 33-cots are available at this center, where premature babies are given intensive care treatment.
