A visit to the beautiful attractions of Dublin is the key highlight of a trip to the enchanting city. The renowned attractions in Dublin range from galleries to museums, from historic buildings to churches and from libraries to green parks and gardens. The city is divided into south side and north side by the River Liffey and most of the attractions in Dublin are located very close to one another.   • Christ Church Cathedral: It is a very ancient medieval church and is situated close to Lord Edward Street. Generally the church remains open from 10 AM to 5:30 PM. It was originally built in the 11 th century and renovated many times. The elegant architecture, the stained glass windows, the high ceiling and the crypt stun visitors.

  • Dublin Castle: It was constructed for the 1st time in the 1200s, however only Norman Tower is a part of the original structure. Several portions of the castle were destroyed and rebuilt over the years. The castle has served as the house of the English Viceroy. A guided tour of the castle is conducted every 20 minutes and it costs between €5.5 to €6.5. The opening timings of the castle are 10 AM to 4:45 PM from
Monday to Friday, while on Saturday and Sunday, it is open from 2 PM to 4:45 PM.

  • St Patrick's Cathedral: Situated on Patrick Street, the cathedral is very interesting and has a long history. The 1st church on the same site was built in the 5th Century. The opening hours of the cathedral are 9 AM to 6 PM, from Monday to Saturday.

  • Phoenix Park: It is located 2 miles to the west of O’Connell Street, on the north bank of River Liffey. The location of the park is extremely peaceful and tranquil. It sprawls over acres of grassland woodland and also has lakes as well as low hills. It is the biggest city park in entire Europe. It houses the popular Dublin Zoo and some portions of the park are employed for the games of polo, cricket and football.

  • National Gallery of Ireland: It is located in the western part of Merrion Square. The collections of the gallery comprise beautiful sculptures and paintings from various places of the world. The other well known tourist destinations in Dublin are Dublin Writers Museum, Royal Dublin Society, National Wax Museum, Croke Park Stadium, The Garden of Remembrance, National Museum of Ireland and many more.
