The Sinhagad Fort reflects the rich history of Pune. In the past, Tanaji Malusare (a General in the army troop of Shivaji) captured Sinhagad fort from the Mughal rulers. Though Tanaji Malusare died while fighting, this historical memorial reminds one of the valiant rulers.
