For a truly spiritual experience, come and spend some time in the Osho Commune International. This ashram of Pune was established by Rajneesh Chandra Mohan Jain. More popularly Osho Commune International is known as Osho. It is situated at 17 Koregaon Park and offers different types of meditation courses to its visitors. 'Spiritual Disney Land' is the other name of this place.
This meditation resort occupies approximately 40 acres of land. It has marble-made white walkways, swimming pool and elegantly designed buildings. Throughout the year, this place is frequented by a huge number of foreign tourists. They belong to different age groups. Here people can attend workshops and different body message courses.

Osho Commune International, Pune comprises beautiful waterfalls and gardens. While talking about this place, its Multiversity deserves a mention. It has 8 faculty members. They organize different types of training courses for the ashram members. Osho, the well-known spiritual leader, passed away on 19th January, 1990 and since then his spiritual wok has been expanded by the faculties of Multiversity.
The main courses of Multiversity are healing arts, western therapy, martial arts, transformative work, esoteric sciences, tantra, sufism, zen, creative arts and several others. Duration of courses can extend up to 3 months. Here meditation camps usually takes place in weekends. People are mainly seen meditating at Osho's samadhi. In order to get entry to this place, visitors are requested to undergo AIDS test. Facilities for carrying out this blood test are available within this complex.
The recreation facilities offered by this meditation complex include a basket ball ground, tennis court and sauna. Beauty parlors are also there. On the other hand, to attend visitors, a welcome center is set up over here. It remains open from 9 in the morning till 3.30 in the afternoon.

With the course of time, number of people visiting this place is increasing. Most of the people visiting here are educated. They have done graduate as well as post-graduate courses and belong to different professions. From artists to businessmen, from servicemen to Doctors- all come here to relax themselves. Many of them are also the followers of different religious groups. For morning meditation, people are seen wearing, Maroon robes, whereas, for evening meditation white robes has to be worn.
Presently, around 750 Osho Meditation centers have been established across 80 countries and, for the conveniences of its members, the Osho Times International is published in 6 different languages. The main medium of instruction in this commune is English.
On 29th September, 1997 in Osho Mahakashyapa, a Dharamsala was set up. It is a 6-storeyed building. All the rooms of this building have private bathrooms. Added to this, Osho Mandir Auditorium is also a place to visit.
A fee of Rs.1150 is charged for each of the meditation courses. However, for 25 years-old people, only 830 rupees is charged. From 10.00 am to 2.30 pm this place remains open to the public.
The meditation hall of Osho Commune International is quite spacious. It is equipped with modern accessories. In the near future, an eating-place will also be constructed over here. For this a kitchen will also be set up.
It is also considered to be the perfect place for organizing cultural programs. The world-known classical musicians, such as Hariprasad Chaurasia and Zakir Hussein have performed in the Buddha Auditorium of Osho Commune. There are many hotels situated close to this place. Tourists can reside in these hotels and explore the area surrounding the Osho Commune.
The Commune International of Pune also comprises a post office. From here international calls can also be made. Moreover, it has a medical center of its own too.
