Omkareshwar Temple Pune was built sometime around the 17th century. It is situated on the banks of the Mutha River. This Partvati Temple was founded during the rule of Sadashiv Bhau. The stone work of the temple is its biggest attraction and hence worth taking a look. The shrine is frequented by devotees and tourists.
Omkareshwar Temple is one of the mostly visited holy places in Pune city. This temple is dedicated to Omkareshwar or Shiva, one of the prominent Hindu gods. This temple is one of the two Shivalayas in Pune, the other one being Amruteshwar.
