Pune education system is well organized and offers international standard curriculum for the overall development of the students. Pune Schools are there to Offer Primary Education



From across the globe, people come here to study. Schools are either government-owned or privately run by individuals or trusts. PMC (Pune Municipal Corporation) looks after the activities of public schools. There are also private schools.

Some of the most-preferred schools of Pune are Hutchings School, St Mary's School, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and St Vincent's School.

Usually the local people of Pune prefer to admit their children in the private schools. This is because these educational institutes use English as the main medium of instruction and a huge number of facilities are also offered to each and every student.

Pune University



All the colleges of Pune are affiliated to the Pune University. In the year 1984, this prestigious educational institute was established. The university allows ample scope for carrying out research work. The university campus is spread over 400 acres land and is situated in the North West of Pune. It has more than 40 Departments.

While talking about Pune Education, the Government College of Engineering deserves a mention. It is one of the oldest engineering institutes of India. Other then this, Pune houses around 5 deemed universities. They are Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, Gokhale Institute of Economics and Political Science, Deccan College, Symbiosis and Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Pune Schools
