Mumbai Passport Office is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. The Passport Office in Mumbai operates from two locations: The Regional Passport Office at 216, Manish Commercial Center, Dr. A. B. Road, Worli, Mumbai – 400 030; and the Passport Annex Office in Bengal Chemical Bhavan, Prabhadevi, Mumbai – 25. All residents of Greater Mumbai, Ratnagiri, Beed, Sindhudurg in Maharashtra, Aurangabad, and the Union Territories of Silvassa and Daman fall under the purview of the Mumbai Regional Passport Office in Worli.
Each of these two offices performs distinct functions. The Regional Office in Worli is responsible for the following duties:
- From 10 am to 12 noon – Appointment with Deputy Passport Officer or Regional Passport Officer for expediting passport applications.
- From 10 am – 12: 30 pm - Appointment with Superintendent or Assistant Passport Officer or Deputy Passport Officer for queries relating to Passports
- From 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm - Delivery of Passports and ECNR (Miscellaneous Services)
The Passport Annex Office in Prabhadevi is entrusted with the following functions:
- From 10 am – 1:30 pm – Sale of application forms from Hall 2
- From 10 am to 2:30 pm – Filled in application forms for passport are submitted in Hall 1.
- From 10 am to 1:30 pm – Completed Miscellaneous forms are to be submitted in Hall 2.

- From 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm – Delivery of Change of Address, PCC, and other Miscellaneous Services from Hall 2.
Places of Submission
Apart from the Passport Annex Office in Prabhadevi, filled in application for passports may also be submitted in the following locations:
- District Passport Centers in Aurangabad (City and Rural), Beed, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg in the respective Office of the Police Superintendent
- District Passport Center in the DM Office or Collectorate of Silvassa, Dadra and Nagar Haveli
- District Passport Centre in the Office of the Mamledar under the administration of Daman and Diu

Passports are delivered across the counter in which case the applicant has to be present, or by Speed Post.
