Mumbai Language highlights the multilingual character of the cosmopolitan city of India. Major languages of Mumbai include Marathi, Gujarati, English and Hindi. Kannad, Telugu, Konkani, Varhadii and Dangii are some of the other languages spoken by a minority section of the local inhabitants of Mumbai.

The Parsi or the Zoroastrianism community, who became a part of Mumbai from the 16th century speak in fluent Gujarati language. Almost 70% of the Parsis who inhabit in Mumbai city use Gujarati as a mode of communication.
Hindi is another popular language of Mumbai. The educated elites of Mumbai converse in English. Including all its variations, Mumbai language helps in the easy communication between the local inhabitants and foreigners of the city.
