Essel World Mumbai


Essel World, Mumbai, the first amusement park in India of international stature, was opened to public in 1992. It was built by the Essel group. The Park is encompasses a vast area in an island near Mumbai called Gorai.

Reaching the Fun-Filled Theme Park- Essel World

The park is easily accessible from different parts of Mumbai. There are frequent buses, trains and ferry services that people can avail. Visitors can travel to Malad and Borivelli stations of Western railways. From Malad, Marve Beach can be reached by BEST bus 272. From Borivelli, people can reach Gorai Creek by Bus 294. Essel World Ferry services are available from the Gorai Creek or the Marve beach. These ferry services are themselves a source of enjoyment for the visitors.

Essel World and Water Kingdom

Pan India Paryatan Ltd., who owns Essel World, also owns the well-known water theme park called Water Kingdom. Both the theme parks are located at Gorai, a coastal village near Mumbai. Like Essel World, Water Kingdom too attracts a large number of visitors for its rides and water games. Water Kingdom is known for the water games like Misphisly Hill, which are thrilling rides at hi speeds, Brat Zone for kids, water rafting of ‘Adventures Amazonia’ and the largest wave pool of the world, “the Wet Atlantic”.
