Adi Godrej was born to mother Jai Godrej and father Burjorji Godrej. His mother was a teacher in a Godrej school and his father was into the family business. For his higher education, Adi Godrej shifted to the United States and finished his bachelor's degree and master's degree in management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology before joining the family business
