Going to Bakkhali
The nearest railway stations from Bakkhali include Barakar and Kumardhubi. Also, the Asansol junction is located some 35 kilometers from the place. The most convenient route to take from Kolkata is via Diamond Harbor, Namkhana. Buses for Namkhana start from the Esplanade at 11 am every morning. From the bus stop at Namkhana, tourists have to cross the Hatania Doania river through ferries, after which there are direct buses to Bakhhali. It takes an hour and a half to reach Bakkhali after boarding the final bus.
