She got married to Dr. Chamanlal Bali and has a son named Suchindra. Some of her renowned films are 'Devdas', 'Ganga Jamuna', 'Sadhna' and 'Sangam'. She also joined politics in 80s but quit it in 1999 due to political differences.

Vyjayanthimala is a well-known actress of India who was born on 13th August, 1936 in Chennai. She is known for her proficiency in Bharatnatyam Dance. She performed before the Pope at the tender age of four. She got her first break in a Tamil film named ‘Vazhkai’ of MV Raman. After its success, this movie was filmed in Hindi in 1951 and was named ‘Bahaar’.
Although a South Indian, actress Vyjayanthimala made majority of her movies in Hindi. She received a big encouragement from her grandmother Yadugiri Devi. She got married to Dr. Chamanlal Bali who was the personal physician of Raj Kapoor. She has a son named Suchindra.
