Anna Zoological Park is a part of the Vandalur Reserve Forest. Travelers can make trips to this zoological park from the city of Chennai and enjoy watching many animals and birds in a natural environment spread over a huge area. They can also enjoy the Elephants rides.
Anna Zoological Park is located in South Chennai at Vandalur. It is the largest zoological park of South East Asia. Many rare species of animals are found here. Located on a total area of 510 hectares, Anna zoological Park keeps animals in the natural environment of the dry evergreen forests, similar to their natural habitat.
The Anna Zoological Park is a part of the Reserve Forest of Vandalur. It was officially opened to the visitors in 1995. Over the years, the park has included many sections such as the reptile section, the Nocturnal section and the Jurassic park.
