Huge pictures on galaxies and Supernova remnants Nebulae are also displayed at the Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium in Bangalore. Sculptures and paintings are on permanent display at the Planetarium. The exhibition hall also features a scientific kiosk, which is donated by the IBM, India. The weighing scale displays the weight of a person on individual planets. Special shows on eclipses, meteors and shooting stars are viewed at large by the masses who visit the planetarium. There is also a science park, which has been built especially for the children, with the aim of educating them on science. Today the planetarium is one of the Bangalore attractions, which is visited by tourists of the city.
