HAL Aerospace Museum is one of the few aviation museums in India. The establishment of this type of a museum in Bangalore has given a lot of interest to the aviation enthusiasts in the city. Inaugurated in 2001, the HAL Aerospace Museum in Bangalore has also become a favorite destination with many tourists. The location of the museum has also enhanced its importance to a great deal. The Bangalore Airport is in close proximity to the museum.
HAL Aerospace Museum has some wonderful aircraft collections. All the aircrafts that are displayed in the museum have some historical importance. All the aircrafts are not displayed at a single place in the museum. The HAL Aerospace Museum at Bangalore has many galleries. However most of the aircrafts are displayed outside the main building of the museum. There is also an art gallery that has many photographs related to the aviation industry. Many chronicles are also displayed in the museum that records the aviation history of the country.

Museum of Bangalore. Apart from passenger and cargo planes that are on display, visitors can also see the various fighter aircrafts in the museum. There are special staffs that are assigned to take care of the various aircrafts that are displayed in the museum. Strict security is also maintained at the place.
An entry fee of Rs 20/- is charged from all the visitors. However, 25/-rupees is charged for carrying a camera in the museum. Video cameras can also be taken inside the premises by paying Rs 45/-. There is also a small shop in the museum that sells articles, which can be bought as mementos and souvenirs.
The HAL Aerospace Museum remains open from 0900 hrs to 1700 hrs on all weekdays apart from Mondays and National Holidays.
