Japanese School of Budapest


The Japanese School of Budapest began working since 2005. The school is dedicated offering superior quality education to its students. Apart from focusing on academics, it also lays stress on other activities such as excursions, summer camps and cultural extravaganzas.

Japanese School of Budapest-the Origin

The Japanese School of Budapest is situated on the Buda side of the river. It is located in close proximity to the Japanese Embassy in Hungary. The school was opened in 1976 as the Budapest Japanese Supplementary School. In 1979 it came to be known as the Remedial classes Budapest Japanese School. It became a part of a middle school in 1983. In 2005 the foundations of the Japanese School in Budapest was finally laid.

The authorities and the governing body of the Japanese School in Budapest believes in imparting quality education to its students. This education is not only restricted to academics but is all encompassing
and relates to other crucial aspects of life. The Japanese School adheres by the guidelines provided by the Education Ministry.

Japanese School of Budapest-Objectives

The primary objectives of the Japanese School of Buda include the fact of inculcating the right kind of education to the Japanese students to enable them to be at par with international standards. It strives to improve the standard of classroom education. In other words, it strives to strike a delicate balance between imparting knowledge and at the same time making the whole process seem less tedious.

Apart from theoretical knowledge, it also attempts at keeping the students healthy and thus equal importance is given to physical education as well. To avoid the monotonous routine. The school organizes summer camps, excursions, sports meet, cultural festivals as well graduation ceremonies. All these are an attempt to enable the overall development of its students by the Japanese School of Budapest.
