One of the major functions of Budapest railway is the transportation of cargo. Though Hungary is a landlocked country Budapest has access to Black sea as well as North sea. Other than the main port in Budapest there are many other ports of Hungary such as Baja, Gyor-Gonyu, Dunavjvaros etc.

Education holds no less significant position in Budapest.
