The different chambers of the House of Terror Museum display things of the era. There are pictures of the people who suffered in this House of Terror. There are separate sections devoted to Social Realism Art, religious exhibits and Gulag life.
The final segment features a video which narrates the process of execution as one lands into the prison basement. The Hall of tears within the museum commemorates the 25000 people who died during the 1956 Revolution. The last couple of rooms in the Museum contain clips which depict the days when the Soviet regime left the country which marked Hungarian independence.
The House of Terror Museum in Budapest remains open from Tuesday to Friday from 10 am in the morning to 6 in the evening. On weekends the museum is open from 10 in the morning to 7.30 in the evening. It remains closed on Monday.
