History and features of Budapest Autumn Festival

The history of the Budapest Autumn Festival dates back to the last decade when it was first held in the year 1992 and was organized by the Budapest Municipality. The festival has been held on a yearly basis since then and this year, i.e. in 2007, it completed 16 years. Some of the common events
at the festival include discussions and debates, fashion shows, exhibitions of paintings, musical and dance performances and theatrical performances amongst a host of other programs. These programs and conferences are attended by many national and international artists and spectators. The festival opens with a sculpture exhibition which showcases the talent of local Hungarian artists.

2007 Budapest Autumn Festival

The 2007 Budapest Autumn Festival was held from October 12-21 and many local as well as international performers participated in the festival. This year most of the programs were done in honor of Frank Zappa.
