Visa Services: Citizens of other European countries need to possess only a valid national ID to enter into Germany. Citizens belonging to Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Mexico, Malaysia, United States, Singapore, South Korea, and several other countries need a valid passport and can stay in Germany for up to 90 days without a visa. Citizens of most other nationalities must have a passport and a valid visa. Germany is a member of the Schengen agreement. Residents of other members of the Schengen agreement do not need to possess a visa to enter into Germany.
