On 23 June 2006, a Group G match between Switzerland and Korea will be held here. On 27 June 2006, a round of 16 match between the qualifying teams will be played here. The matches in Hanover city will be played in the ultra-modern FIFA World Cup Stadium Hanover. This stadium has a gross seating capacity of 44,652 people. The playing area in this stadium is equipped with undersoil heating and drainage. The lighting is provided by a high-tech lighting system consisting of 1501,500 Lux spotlights.
