The cities, Kortingsdorf, Linden and Herrenhausen are located to the west of Hanover. To the north of the city lie Leinhausen, Vinnhorst, Hainholz, Wiesenau, List and Vahrenwald. The cities situated to the south of Hanover are Wettbergen, Westerfeld and Ricklingen.
