Paris Police comprises a body of able and efficient police officers who ensure the safety as well as the security of the people. The police force of Paris are provided by the Prefecture of Police, which is under the Department of the National Police of France.

Police stations of the 1er arrondisement are located in La Villette, Belleville and Canal Saint Martin
2EME arrondisement police stations are in Opera and Grands Boulevards.
3EME arrondisement police stations are in Marais and Les Helles.
3EME arrondisement police stations are in Notre Dam and Quartier Latin.

The Perfecture de Police stations are in Notre Dame, Quartier Latin, Marais and Les Halles. These police stations are open from Monday to Thursday from 8:30 am to 4:45 pm. On Fridays they are open from 8:30am to 4:15pm.
