The Musée Grévin in Paris was established in the year 1882, inspired by the Madame Tussaud in London. The Grévin Museum is popular as it displays identical wax figures of both historical and contemporary celebrities. The museum is named after Alfred Grévin, a sculptor, cartoonist and designer of theatrical attires. Alfred Grévin and a journalist named Arthur Meyer, were responsible for the creation of the Musée Grévin.

The opening hours of Musée Grévin are 10 AM to 6.30 PM, from Monday to Friday. On holidays, Sundays and Saturdays the museum is open from 10 AM to 7 PM. The museum, located at 10, Boulevard Montmartre and is easily accessible from various parts of Paris by buses nos. 24, 74 and 39 and also by metro. The entry fees vary from 9 to 16 Euro.
