Cognacq Jay Museum


As one of the popular museums in Paris, the Cognacq Jay Museum was built in the early 20th century, between 1900 and 1925, under the initiatives of Ernest Cognacq, a businessman and his wife Marie-Louise Jay. The most popular among the exhibits of the Cognacq Jay Museum are the world-class sculptures and paintings of artists like Chardin, Lemoyne, Fragonard, Saly, Lavreince and many others. Musee Cognacq-Jay is originally the transformed version of the Hotel Donon of the 16th century.
