The museum is divided into two parts. The Museum of Music or Musee de la Musique and Paris Philharmonic or philharmonie de Paris. The best way to reach Cité de la Musique is to avail the metro line 5 or Porte de Pantin. Bus numbered 75, 151 and PC also reach this destination. There are permanent exhibitions from Tuesday to Saturday, starting from noon to 6 p.m and concerts are held till 8pm at night. On Sundays the museum is open from10 am.- 6 pm. Large groups can visit this museum, but with prior appointment.
