Visa Services: Whether you would need a visa or not for a visit to Nantes depends on the duration of your stay and which country's citizen you are. If you are a citizen of Austria, Belgium, Germany, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal and Spain, you may not require a visa as all these countries are referred to as the Schengen Agreement countries. All employees have to furnish many documents for obtaining a permit. The local Direction Departmentale du Travail, de L'Emploi et de la Formation Professionale (DDTEFP) deals with all French work permit applications on a town by town basis. There are two types of permits for France called temporary secondment and full work permit.
