Mulhouse administration is presently the responsibility of the French government and has been so ever since 1789. Prior to 1789, Mulhouse was a Swiss city. These communes include The Mulhouse administration responsibilities have been distributed among four bodies, the community board, the community bureau, the commissions and the executive bureau.
The citizens of Mulhouse elect the councilors of their ward and there are 93 councilors in all. Together they form the council of Mulhouse. The council heads the community board. The gaols of the board are set by the council. The later meets four times a year to decide upon public service missions, supervising on the community service engagement and on issues of budget. The community service employees maintain the Commissions, the place exchange of information.
The councilors elect the president of the community board of Mulhouse. The post of Vice President is actually shared by 24 heads. In addition to this, there are about ten assessors for the facilitation of their work. Their chief responsibility is the execution of work apportioned to them by the Council. The work includes dealing with different sorts of public contracts. They meet twelve times in a year, once in each month.
In addition to the Body of Councilors and the Bureau of Community, the executive council works in order to take up new projects dealing with contemporary matters. The body of executive council incorporates the director general of seven deputy generals, a group of eight vice presidents and a president to leads the Executive office of Mulhouse.
