Temppeliaukio church is one of the important Helsinki Attractions, which brings a great number of tourists from and wide. The architect brothers, Timo and Tuomo Suomalainen, designed it and thus the Temppeliaukio church of Helsinki was built in 1968-1969. The Temppeliaukio church in Helsinki, made out of solid rock is also known as the Church of the Rock. The 180 glasses between the dome and the wall helps the natural light to enter the church and lighten it. Having excellent acoustics the Temppeliaukio church is often used for concerts.

- Sunday from 11:45 am to 1:45 pm and 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm
However due to occasions arranged in the church, the opening hours may vary at times. There is no entry charge to enter the Temppeliaukio church. This church, located near the center of Helsinki offers the quietest atmosphere and has seating for 940 people in an area of 11,000 cubic meters.
