Moges Kebede


Moges Kebede is an author, essayist and editor. He was born in Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa. Moges Kebede is also the publisher of a monthly magazine named “Mestawet Ethiopian Newspaper”. The magazine is published for the Ethiopian immigrant community based in the United States of America.

Life of Moges Kebede

Moges Kebede is also popular known as Moges Damte or Moges Kebede Damte.
After completing studies in high school, Kebede went on to become a freelance writer. He started the job of writing articles for various magazines and private newspapers. He also used to write plays for local theaters.

Moges Kebede’s writings began to gain popularity during the early 1990s. Moges’ first novel, “Damotra” was published in 1992. The author immigrated to Minneapolis, in the U.S. state Minnesota in 2001 April.
