During the 1950's, this noted Egyptian resort village was established. However, very few structures of that period still exist. Here, almost all the housings are simple. But like other cities, exceptions are also there. While roaming around Agami, tourists must visit the Villa Lashin that was constructed in the year 1962 by the famous architect, Ali Azzam. Besides this, the Beit el-Halawa is also nestled there. It was constructed by Abd el-Wahid el-Wakil. Moreover, the resort villages of Sidi Kheir and Hannoville, are closely situated beside the Beit el-Halawa.
Among the other tourist attractions, there is also a tiny French fort in Agami. It was probably built during the French occupation of Egypt.
From the above discussion, it is quite clear that an Egypt tour without a visit to this exclusive resort village of Agami is indeed an incomplete one.
