Prague Languages


Prague languages are a must-learn before making a trip to the city of Prague. There are several languages and dialects that are used in the city. Czech is the most dominant language that is spoken in Prague. This language is slightly different from Polish language, in pronunciation. This language was suppressed but with the nationalist movement the language revived itself in the 19th century. The Czech is quite a difficult language to learn and it takes quite a long time to make a grip on the language.

There are other Prague languages that are extensively used in the country. English has also become one of the commonly used languages in the country. The
younger generation speaks a lot of English. The tourism industry in the country has also enhanced the use of English. Apart from Czech and English, German is also one of the preferred languages in Prague. The older generations prefer to use German for communication purposes.

The Czech language of Prague is an interesting language to follow. There are various dialects of this language, each with a different pronunciation from the other. Most of the Czech words have a stress on the first syllable. Even the children find it difficult to pronounce several Czech words and as a result, English is becoming a favorite language with the new and younger generation.
