The main aim of establishing Czech Banking Credit Bureau was to obtain client’s banking information. Czech Banking Credit Bureau is a company which can inform the banks about the client’s prospects of payments and credit worthiness. Czech Banking Credit Bureau is located in Na Prikope 21, Prague 1. The register of the Czech Banking Credit Bureau of Prague was established in 2002 and is owned by five banks.
Current banks which are the users of the register include:
- Komercni banka
- Ceska sporitelna
- Ceskoslovenska obchodní banka
- GE Capital Bank
- HVB Bank Czech Republic
The main features of the Credit bureau include:

- For the internal communication AT&T Global Network are used.
- All Czech banks can become members of the register if they are neither under liquidation nor under forced administration
- Positive and negative information about credit score, morality and credibility of payment of clients are included in the Information data-base.
- The Register does not look at active balances of the bank clients.
- Information about the client indebtedness regarding the past 4 years are available in the register.
The whole project had often been formed in consultation with Office for Personal Data Protection and Czech National Bank. So Czech Banking Credit Bureau in Prague can claim to be authentic.
