Zagreb experiences continental climactic condition. Zagreb experiences four different seasons of summer, winter, rainy and autumn.

In the summer seasons, Zagreb Weather gets warm and dry. During winters Zagreb experiences severe cold waves. The average temperature in winter remains 1°C, while during summer the temperature reaches around 20°C. Especially at the end of May, the weather gets extremely warm. During this time the temperature often touches 30°C.

One of the common characteristic features of the winter season is the snowfall. All through the winter seasons, the residents of Zagreb face shivering cold and snowfall. Generally in between the period of December and March, there is heavy snowfall in Zagreb. On the other hand, Zagreb experiences autumn season from October to December. During this time, fog and rain are the common climatic features of Zagreb.



In the month of January, the average rainfall remains 52 mm. In February, there is minimum rainfall in Zagreb. The average rainfall in the month of February remains 48 mm. However, in June and October the average rainfall is 95mm.
