Mamutica is a very large building that is located in the city of Zagreb in Croatia. The word ‘Mamutica’ means ‘Mammoth’. True to its name, Mamutica in Zagreb is perhaps the only building of its kind in the world that comprises of a large number of residential apartments. Mamutica was built in the year 1974 in Novi Zagreb. The building consists of 20 floors. The building is 70 meters high and 240 meters long and houses some 5000 people in all.
