Zagreb Districts provide comprehensive information on the administrative divisions of the place. Zagreb consists of 17 districts. In the year of 1993, a new administrative subdivision was made in Croatia. Zagreb serves as the unitary city. However, there were around 14 communities, who used to take care of the administrative activities of the city. Some of those communities are as follows:
- Velika Gorica
- Centar
- Maksimir
- Samobor
- Sesvete
- Dubrava
- Medvescak
|
- Novi Zagreb
- Crnomerec
- Susedgrad
The election procedure is very new in the Zagreb Districts. The districts of Zagreb include Laniste, Sopot, Zagreb, Dubrava, Jarun, Tresnjevka, Susedgrad, Crnomerec, Vrbani and Vrapce.
The establishment of the Zagreb districts has enhanced the administrative performance of the place. Among the above-mentioned districts, Vrbani is located in the southwest of Zagreb and is considered to be one of the most important districts of Zagreb. Jarun, on the other hand, was renamed after the Lake Jarun and is said to be one of the main travel destinations of this Croatian city.
