Television Broadcast Limited Hong Kong is a commercial television station licensed to broadcast its programs from Hong Kong SAR. It is also known by its Chinese-English initials: TVB.

Television Broadcast Limited Hong Kong is one of the pioneers of the free-to-air television channel market in Hong Kong. Today, TVB is the biggest profit making Chinese language program producer in the world. The Television Broadcast Company has a number of subsidiary companies spread all over the globe.

TVB retains ownership and operational control of two Hong Kong television channels: TVB Pearl and TVB Jade. TVB Pearl caters to the English speaking audience. TVB Pearl caters to the native Cantonese language speaking population.

Television Broadcast Limited also owns a number of
Pay-TV channels in Hong Kong. All Pay-TV channels owned by Television Broadcast Limited Hong Kong are administered under the flagship company of TVB Pay Vision Limited.

TVB has its corporate headquarters at Clearwater Bay in Sai Kung area of Hong Kong. The mass Communications Company transmits a number of newscasts all through the day. The principal anchor news is broadcast at least once a day. For example, the Pearl News Channel makes its trademark news broadcast at 7.30pm. The main forte of TVB is however, entertainment programs. The soap operas of TVB are very popular in the Hong Kong market.

The Television Broadcasting Limited also holds a key event in Hong Kong-TVB Music Awards. This event forms a major attraction for all Cantopop singers in the South Asian region.
