The blue and green taxis do not have such a high rate as they do not operate in the main urban areas. The Transport Department in Hong Kong has a separate fare table for each type of taxis. Receipts are also provided by taxi drivers, if asked. Diesel fuel and petrol are used in the Hong Kong taxis. In the recent times, LPG is also being used.
